When we arrived in Cagayan we then travelled by an ancient Jeepney, with thread bare tyres, for many hours through the mountains. They have a great need for a new Jeepney for mission outreach and emergencies; as an ambulance to carry the sick and dying for help and to take food into the other provinces. This is their only transport to enable them to cover a vast area. We have been told recently that old, damaged vehicles can no longer be registered leaving them in a desperate sistuation.

I was shocked when I arrived at Pastor Pacio's home.

There wa no electricity, no water pump, only kerosene lamps.

We went to the river a distance away to bathe and wash, this was our bathroom during our mission .....

We lived like natives for one month with only the bananas off the trees and maybe if you were lucky a little rice with egg, fried potato and the native coconut coffee.

With your support they will be able to buy a plot of land like this, to grow rice, in order that they can be self-sufficient. The whole village, who are poor, can be helped by this.
